For those who are connoisseurs of great leather that doesn’t want to go all traditional, Louis Vuitton’s
Monogram My Deer! Enigme is a clutch worthy of a better look. Though its name suggests that the bag is puzzling or difficult to understand, I know only one thing… the Enigme is just beautiful.
My Deer! Enigme is made from exceptional and supple deerskin leather with a light sheen. The bag features five decorative padlocks in the flap which gives the bag a hard edge. Inside, there’s a zipped compartment in the middle and a flat pocket. Enigme effortlessly transforms from a day to evening clutch, surely a great conversation piece.
Monogram My Deer! Enigme measures 10.8″ x 5.5″ x 3.1″ and comes in one color: Rouge Fetiche. Its available at Louis Vuitton for $2470.

Though US Vogue’s September 2009 issue is tad smaller (only 584 pages) compared to its monstrous predecessors (2008 with 798, 2007 with 840), the magazine still delivers stunning editorials that are highly quintessential for the September issue. My favorite editorial in the magazine is called Into the Woods starring Natalia Vodianova and was photographed by Mert & Marcus. Its a cute yet captivating editorial which follows Little Red Riding Hood through her journey in the woods.
“In a fashion fairy tale, Natalalia Vodianova is Little Red Riding Hood – alluring in capes and coats, dresses and suits of scarlet, rose, ruby and crimson.”

FULL BLOOM She watched sunbeams streaming through the trees and smelled the fragrant wildflowers, and thought, I will gather a bouquet for Grandmother. Louis Vuitton wool coat ($2097), pullover ($824), layered skirt ($2545), and boots; louisvuitton.com. Gaspar fingerless gloves.
I can’t wait to see this in print!

Its still August but
Vogue Nippon’s October 2009 issue is already out. If fashion is fast, the Japanese are faster! Photographed by Mario Sorrenti, Raquel Zimmerman graces the cover which channels a feeling of old Hollywood meets French coquette. If only the G doesn’t frame Raquel’s face, it could have been perfect. But its Vogue Nippon, they somewhat doesn’t notice that VOGUE is covering a model’s face (i.e.
July 08,
February 09, etc)

In the United States, American Vogue has joined with NYC & Company, the City of New York, and the Council of Fashion Designers of America to enliven again the consumer spirit that churns the economy and boosts the local industry of America’s fashion capital, New York City. Next only to finance, fashion is the second-largest sector of industry in New York City—the headquarters of more than 800 fashion companies employing 175,000 people and generating $10 billion in total wages. At City Hall’s May 20 press conference to announce Fashion’s Night Out, Vera Wang said, “To put it bluntly, if people don’t shop, people lose their jobs.”
The first evening of New York Fashion Week, Fashion’s Night Out will encompass festivities galore— from inventive window displays to model and celebrity appearances. Champagne may flow; hors d’oeuvres may be passed. Rumors of musical performances, downtown barbecues, shoe capsules, limited-edition rings, and sweepstakes abound. Apparently there will be makeovers, brow bars, and haircut stations at sundry spots, too.
